Savour Expo Canberra - Information for Exhibitors

To promote your little piece of the food, wine, spirits or beer industry, a booth at Savour, the National Capital Food Wine & Beverage Expo is definitely the ticket. Joined with over 70 other exhibitors, you can expect over 2000 people to peruse your wares and services and, of course, sales are welcome. You also have the option to exhibit at the National Capital Liquor Expo on Monday 15 October 2009. This is the trade version, or the business end of the expo, where you will have the chance to network and do business with some like-minded folk from the ACT and surrounding regions.

Tips on Exhibiting

• Sampling can be a great way to attract people to your stand and engage them with your product.
• Having a competition with an entry form on your stand is a good way to build a database of contacts that can be used for follow up promotional activities after the expo
• If you are looking to extend your coverage beyond the exhibition then make sure you send any press releases and special offers to the organisers before the show so they can add them to show promotion. Also consider taking an ad in the expo guide.
• Make sure any trade visitors you invite to the show pre-register on the website - it's free and means there will be a name badge and pass ready and waiting for them when they arrive at the show. Trade visitors that pre-register to go in the draw for a major prize. (registration on the website will open 1 September 09)
